COMPREHENSIVE CANNABIS UPDATE

On June 18th 2019, the City Council adopted Ordinance 19-10, Ordinance 19-11 and Ordinance 19-12 as a Comprehensive Cannabis Update. The purpose of the update was designed to eliminate extraneous regulations, identify opportunities for streamlining the permitting process, and better align local regulations with state requirements. The Comprehensive Update also removed the requirements for a Residential Indoor Marijuana Cultivation Permit, allowed additional uses such as testing and retail sales (dispensaries), and expanded the permitted locations and zones for cultivation.
