Parks & Facilities

The City of San Jacinto offers many Public Parks and grassy common areas that the general public, City residents, their families and friends can enjoy every day of the year.  Most City parks open at dawn and close at dusk.

Each park is uniquely designed for the space they occupy and the anticipated needs of nearby neighborhoods.

Equipment, amenities and features vary from location to location, therefore you are encouraged to select the link for each location and enjoy the photos that accompany each page.

Whether you are looking for a full size basketball court, a playground specifically designed for toddlers, or a lighted tennis court, you are sure to find a park that meets your needs!

Photo of North Mountains

Many of our parks offer gorgeous views of the mountains.

Little Fact: Charlie VanFleet and the boy scouts created the large capital "S" on the North Mountain in 1929 where it remains today (source: Betty Jo Dunham, 2018).

As you explore San Jacinto's parks, take note of the many monuments or memorials dedicated to significant events or individuals such as this plaque in memory of Tanner Sean Haugen.  Many educational opportunities are available in addition to the physical benefits of enjoying our public parks.

Be sure to check out one of the City's most valued and special treasures, the Francisco Estudillo Mansion, named the most significant historical building in the San Jacinto Valley and one of the most significant in all of Riverside County.

Visitors are asked to make use of the many trash receptacles located at each property.  Your cooperation in keeping our parks clean and presentable conserves funds that can be used for new trees, flowers and replacement of equipment.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation!
