Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Marks Grand Opening of Sallee Park in San Jacinto, California

San Jacinto, California - March 21, 2024 - Today marks a momentous occasion for the residents of San Jacinto as the city celebrates the grand opening of Sallee Park, located at 180 Idyllwild Drive. This eagerly anticipated event signifies the culmination of months of hard work and dedication by the city's officials, community members, and local organizations.

Thanks to the funding provided by Proposition 68, the City of San Jacinto has been able to transform Sallee Park into a vibrant community hub, offering an array of recreational amenities for residents of all ages. The ribbon cutting ceremony, scheduled for March 21, 2024, officially unveil the park's new features and facilities. Among the exciting additions funded by Proposition 68 is a state-of-the-art basketball court, providing a safe and welcoming space for basketball enthusiasts to hone their skills and enjoy friendly competition. Additionally, a brand-new fitness trail has been installed, complete with seven workout stations strategically placed throughout the park, encouraging active living and promoting health and wellness within the community. Proposition 68 funding served as a catalyst for the city of San Jacinto to enhance Sallee Park with even more amenities and attractions. In addition to the basketball court and fitness trail, the park now boasts meticulously landscaped green spaces, creating a picturesque environment for residents to relax and unwind. Furthermore, recognizing the growing popularity of cornhole, the city has added a competition-style cornhole area, providing yet another engaging activity for park-goers to enjoy. The ribbon cutting ceremony was attended by city officials, representatives from Proposition 68, local dignitaries, and members of the community.
