Business Check List


The City of San Jacinto requires all businesses operating within City limits to obtain a business license before beginning operations. Use the information below to guide you through the online application process.



Apply Online

All business license applications are submitted electronically. To get started, you will need to create an online account and log in to the licensing portal.

Annual Renewal

Business licenses must be renewed every year. Renewal notices will be sent electronically to the email associated with your account.

Business Start Date

Your business start date is the first day you conducted business activities within the City of San Jacinto.

Identification Requirements

All new businesses must provide the appropriate identification number:

Sole Proprietors & Partnerships

  • Social Security Number (SSN) for each owner or partner

LLCs, Limited Partnerships, Trusts & Corporations

  • Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN) or
  • State Employer Identification Number (SEIN)

Payment Information

Payment is not required at the time of application. After your application is reviewed, a City representative will contact you within 10 business days with:

  • Your total fees due
  • Instructions for submitting payment online
