The Parks Department is responsible for the maintenance of all public parks, trails, and open space. This includes mowing, edging, weeding, trash clean up, playground equipment inspection, irrigation repairs, tree trimming, graffiti abatement, and administer fertilization and aeration schedules for the turf.

Parks amenities are open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis and no reservations are required. If you plan to schedule sports practices, please coordinate with other teams and plan accordingly. The City of San Jacinto is home to over 170 acres of Public Parks and grassy common areas that the general public, City residents, their families and friends can enjoy every day of the year.  As you explore San Jacinto's parks, take note of the many monuments or memorials dedicated to significant events or individuals. Most City parks open at dawn and close at dusk.

If you are planning to have an event at the park, it is highly recommended for vendors (food, jumpers, etc.) to obtain a City license to avoid any legal liability. Additionally, for large gatherings and events, temporary use permits, or special event permits are mandatory and are issued through the Planning department. It is important to note that these permits require a 30 to 60-day notice prior to the event. Please submit an application to the Planning department at City of San Jacinto (tylerhost.net).

Visitors are asked to make use of the many trash receptacles located at each property.  Your cooperation in keeping our parks clean and presentable conserves funds that can be used for new trees, flowers and replacement of equipment.
